ADVANCE PAYMENT PROGRAM
The 2024 APP is now available.
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada with the New Brunswick Maple Syrup Association have been providing the Advance Payment Program (APP) to its members since 2008.
The 2024 APP program based on maple syrup taps is now available. The program allows maple syrup producers to obtain an interest-free cash advance of up to $250,000 without interest.
This program allows you to wait to negotiate a better price for your syrup.

SILVICULTURE PROGRAM
The 2024/25 Silviculture Program
is now available.
​
Funding for and implementation of the silviculture program initiative is made possible through the NB Department of Natural Resources and Development of Energy and, the New Brunswick Maple Syrup Association (NBMSA).
Funding is available to enhance the operability and increase the production of maple syrup from both Crown and private land sugar bush, primarily through thinning and harvest treatments designed to develop both young and established stands through the removal of diseased and dying trees as well as undesirable species.
